OpenAI has rolled out a shiny new GitHub connector for its deep research tool, allowing ChatGPT to dive into codebases and engineering documents. Just plug and play the Github repo link. Then ask questions, get summaries, and even break down product specs.

Connectors are hot: Earlier this month, Anthropic also launched integrations with Claude, allowing Claude to surf everything from your enterprise code to PayPal. There might be a day MCPs (Model Context Protocol) will be able to connect to everything with a digital footprint.
