🧠 Even Alibaba's Qwen 3 delegates work better than you

Alibaba — the Chinese tech conglomerate known for its e-commerce and cloud computing services — has just dropped Qwen 3, its latest AI model family.

2 models uses a mixture of experts architecture (MoE). MoE models delegates some of its tasks down to specialized expert models, making it more computationally efficient and more accurate. 6 models are dense, which means all parameters are used even if it’s overkill.

To think or not to think: It also offers more fine control over your “thinking budget” with optionality of speed vs deep reasoning.

Fun Fact: Qwen 3’s MoE models outperforms Qwen 2.5 even with just 10% of its parameters on.

🛍️ ChatGPT is also your Shop BFF

ChatGPT can shop for you now! OpenAI reveals personalized recommendations, visual product details, price comparisons, reviews, and direct purchase links across categories like fashion, beauty, home goods, and electronics.

No skip button: Unlike traditional search engines, ChatGPT's results are curated by AI without paid advertisements. Doesn’t link directly with merchants - yet. TBD on if affiliate or referral programs are part of OpenAI’s revenue strategy.

🎯 Fun Fact: There were one billion searches on ChatGPT last week.

🪲 Lightrun Bags $70 Million to Squash Your Bugs

Israeli startup Lightrun just closed a $70 M Series B (Accel + Insight Partners) to super-charge its “runtime autonomous AI debugger.” Their pitch? Code is cheap, bugs are expensive. Its customers already include Citi, Salesforce, and Microsoft.

Fewer 3 a.m. PagerDuty alerts: It lives inside your IDE, simulates how fresh code will behave in production, then patches disasters before they nuke your uptime. It uses root cause analysis to pin down to the exact line of code.

🎯 Fun Fact: Both founders met in Israel’s elite Unit 8200 cyber-intel corps; rumor is the original prototype was built between training drills.
